Step-by-Step Guide to Arranging Home Care

1.   Contact Home Helpers Care: Call for a friendly chat, email or complete our Enquiry Form for more information regarding our Home Care Services.

2.   Arrange a Home Care Assessment: Book a Free Care Assessment at your home with one of our Care Managers. This allows us to work with you and your family to create a personal Care Plan, which includes a Home Risk Assessment. This then determines what care is needed and the frequency and length of the Home Care visits.

3.   Bespoke Care Plan: A personalised Home Care Plan is designed and based on the Care Assessment. This forms the basis of the Clients needs, wishes and of the level of personal care and daily duties that our Care Assistants will carry out.

4.   Care Assistants Selected: We will carefully select and match the needs of our Client with a Team of highly trained Care Assistants who will give continuity of care.

5.   Start Date Confirmed: Together working with the Client, we will agree and decide on the earliest suitable start date. The Care Contract is signed.

6.   Monitoring and Review: We will carefully monitor your Home Care, which will be regularly reviewed, including visits to your home to ensure it continues to meet your needs.

Cost of Home Care

The cost of the Home Care arrangements will depend on the level of need and the duration of care. If more than one person needs care, we would recommend Couples Care and taking this into account, tailor our service.

Our Team can offer advice and support in all care costs and funding options. We can also provide an outline of charges involved and are happy to help and discuss the care costs in relation to the level of care required.
