Location:        Towns & Villages in West Berkshire

Newbury, Thatcham, Reading, Lambourn, Hungerford & the surrounding towns and villages

Hours:             Flexible (full and part time, bank and weekend opportunities are available)
Pay Rates:     Starting from £7.70 per hour to £14.25 per hour depending on experience

Contracted hours are available - Paid travel time and mileage - Five day in-house training programme

Job Description:
To help support and maintain a service user’s active role in their local community. To promote independence and help the service user deal with their day-to-day lives.

What we need you to do...

  • Have an active role in providing friendly service for Home Helpers Care.
  • Work closely with the family, friends and doctors who are all involved with the service users.
  • Be reliable and provide consistency to the vulnerable adults we care for.
  • Be flexible as we work to please our service user’s demands.
  • Fulfil other duties as and when required using initiative.

What we need you to have...

  • A caring nature that can be transformed into a rewarding career.
  • A passion to promote independence to our service users.
  • A willingness to expand your knowledge about various parts of the job.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Good planning skills and you will be required to work to a tight schedule.
